Slice of Presidential Candidate Deceit for Y’All

Rick Perry, Texas Governor and American presidential hopeful, appointed the officials from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality who went through an important environmental report on the Galveston Bay and deleted any mention of ecological changes that might have been caused by climate change.

Once the scientists who wrote the report read the new version, they went public with the censorship and demanded that their names be removed from the doctored report. They also released the unedited report to the press.

You can peruse the paper edit-by-edit.

We should thank Perry, really. The best way to publicize an issue is to try and censor it.

Oh, this guy is a first class twip. There is TONS of stuff that have been reported on Perry. If you want some real eye-openers, check out stuff he’s done while governor down in Texas. Go to and ask my buddy Mark about him. Just be sure you have a couple DAYS to read his response! :D

I don’t know much about him, but I do know that when I learned he responded to his state being on fire by telling Texans to pray for rain, both eyebrows were raised.
